You wouldn't be a true resident of the Midwest if you didn't support one of many Major League Baseball teams. We made our first outing to Progressive Field to watch the Indians beat the Detroit Tigers 9 - 4, and to enjoy some freebies (it was Backpack Day). The highlight was when Grady Sizemore hit a three-run home run in the 5th inning. The crowd went crazy and fireworks exploded. Allison leaned over and asked if the Indians scored a touchdown. I think we need to school her in some baseball fundamentals before our next game.
